Lego Love

Hahahahahaa, I’m so happy there’s a reason to look back on this album of photos… DIYno Haus parties are generally one big hot mess, and this one was no exception. At least it was unforgettable. So without further ado, enjoy these photos that were taken exactly one year ago!
February 13, 2009 was possibly the best night-before-Valentine’s party ever.
We celebrated Brian’s birthday by having a doubly-themed party over at the Prince St. house. Vampires + Spin the bottle = Beautiful memories. There was also quite a bit of dancing to Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Yelle, which I can never complain about. And in a house where Robert resorted to drinking from the keg with a measuring cup, the lack of appropriate dishware led to drunk people eating birthday cake with their hands.
I just discovered something AMAZING!
I usually delete my American Apparel emails before I even open them because I’m fiscally responsible. However, I just opened one because I might need to get a few new bras soon, and found out they’re having a BEST BOTTOM CONTEST.
So, if you want to take advantage of these girl’s low self esteem like I do, go to the American Apparel Best Bottom Contest. As of right now there are 874 “submissions.” Enjoy!
In 2009, we were way better about making trips to Gainesville for Neon Liger, Five Guys, and quiet mornings at James’ house watching Married to the Eiffel Tower. I miss crazy weekends in Gainseville! Actually, I think a year ago TODAY was my very first trip there to see Designer Drugs who had just performed at Menace Beach. Fun fact: Andrea and I weren’t even official yet when these were taken. Awww.
